Why we are doing this: an opportunity to share what different faculty and universities are doing around sustainability in teaching and research. We are using a hybrid “hub” model with online and different physical locations that enable cross-site collaboration and widening participation while reducing travel time, costs and carbon emissions.
The workshop will take place over two days, both online and in-person. Participants will be invited to attend online or in-person at one of the hubs. Each hub may have additional activities at other times; agendas will be available for these at a later date.
Each university is welcome to host its own “hub” for the conference, with in-person events and online connections to the other hubs, including one in Charlotte, NC. Each “hub” site will need to make its own arrangements for space, streaming audio and video, and any refreshments. The event organisers will provide the Zoom link for the two days. Individuals are also welcome to join us via Zoom or in person. Please contact us by 31st August to register as a hub.
